Manufactured Stone is used as a protective and decorative covering for exterior or interior vertical walls and surfaces.  The Veneers are typically 1 1/2 to 2 inches thick and weighs less than 10 lbs per square foot so that no additional structural supports are required.  Manufactured Stone Veneer is a decorative building material made to replicate natural stone.  The names artificial stone, man made stone, and rock in a box are also used when referring to Manufactured Stone.

Manufactured Stone is fabricated by pouring a lightweight
concrete mix into forms of different styles patterned from selected pieces of natural stone and colored with natural earth pigments. The stone veneer produced is then attached with Type "S" mortar to the sub-straight desired. The advantages of manufactured stone:

  • Cost   (cost of material, cost of application, waste)
  • Weight   (no angle irons or footings)
  • Variety of designs and colors
  • Easy to install

Manufactured Stone is not a new and unproven product; in fact Manufactured Stone products have been around for decades and have been used as a veneer in homes and shopping centers around the globe.

Centurion Stone® and Native Stone both have a 50 year manufactures warranty.
